Google Maps recently launched a really cool new tool called “Ask Maps.” Now, travelers can chat directly with U.S. users and directly ask questions about their trips right in the app! This new functionality aims to enhance user experience by providing immediate answers to questions regarding routes, traffic conditions, and nearby points of interest.
As this feature rolls out, Google Maps is upgrading its new immersive navigation features to help users navigate with Google Maps indoors. Miriam Daniel, a key figure in the development of these updates, stated, “Our team set out to redesign the driving experience with the objective of taking the guesswork out of trips.” The deep dive immersive navigation overhaul would expect to really change the game on how users are going to navigate the app. Daniel added, “It’s got redesigned visuals, fresh real-world information that’s brought to you just in time, and more intuitive guidance.”
