Rehlko recently signed a nationwide exclusive agreement with Toyota Motor North America. HYZON will provide Rehlko with hydrogen-powered fuel cell modules that will be used in Rehlko’s stationary power generator product line. This partnership is a significant step toward delivering zero-emission energy solutions. It places a big emphasis on increasing the reliability and resilience of power supplies for key facilities.
The partnership initially took shape with a successful pilot project involving a 100kW hydrogen fuel cell power generation system installed at Klickitat Valley Health in rural Washington State. This system was designed to reinforce the hospital’s electrical infrastructure, demonstrating the practical application of Toyota’s fuel cell technology in a real-world setting.
Production staff Rehlko combines these modules into full power productions units. This multi-faceted approach seeks to avoid the duplication of operational standards of conventional generators while delivering a zero-emission alternative. This breakthrough technology consistently provides affordable energy. Importantly, it serves their customers’ resilience aspirations by removing harmful, local emissions.
In reply to increasing demand for more extensive, larger-scale power solutions, Rehlko and Toyota have designed a commercialised 1MW system. This system serves as an example of both companies’ commitment to sustainability and reliability in energy production.
“The 1MW fuel cell generator represents a significant step forward in energy resilience for mission-critical customers. It delivers the same reliability but helps customers meet their resilience goals by cutting local emissions to zero. This cutting-edge technology is ready for orders today.” – Charles Hunsucker
The integration of Toyota’s established fuel cell technology into Rehlko’s energy solutions represents a notable collaboration between the two companies. The modules are designed to deliver the same level of reliability as conventional generators, ensuring that essential facilities can maintain operations even during power disruptions.
“Toyota is excited to work with Rehlko on helping to build strong energy solutions using our proven, scalable fuel cell technology.” – Thibaut de Barros Conti
Rehlko’s hydrogen fuel cell modules are now available for orders, reflecting the company’s readiness to meet the rising demand for clean and reliable energy sources. This innovative partnership illuminates the powerful potential behind clean hydrogen tech. It shows a clear, proactive attempt to address the climate crisis and promote a clean energy transition.
