Origis Energy Expands Texas Solar Capacity with Rockhound Projects

Originally developed by Origis Energy, the recently completed Rockhound Projects. These projects will add about 413 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity to the Texas electrical grid. This initiative complements the company’s larger strategy to replace outdated energy infrastructure throughout the region. It follows on the heels of the successful launch of Swift Air Solar’s new Solar complex.

The Swift Air Solar complex, located in Texas, has a remarkable capacity of all 500MW direct current combined. Once completely online, it’s scheduled to be over 700MW. The development includes four phases. Projects -SRF In 2025, the Swift Air Solar II and Swift Air Solar III projects reach financial close.
