Exus Renewables Expands Asset Management Services for Texas Solar Projects

Exus Renewables is proud to announce its commitment to provide best in class asset management services to large scale utility solar projects in Texas. This new effort is aimed specifically at achieving predictable energy output. It further emphasizes asset life within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market. The firm’s most recent foray into a variety of North American markets. With the swift acquisition of Sunrun, it further consolidates its strategic advantage in the burgeoning renewable energy sector.

The solar projects at issue consist of three different locations in Falls County, Chilton, and Hill County. These utility-scale facilities are expected to play a crucial role in Texas’s energy landscape by contributing to the state’s renewable energy goals.

In July 2025, Exus Renewables closed €266.87 million ($308.2 million) in financing. With this funding, they will produce the most utility-scale solar and wind projects throughout the entire United States. This massive investment makes their commitment to renewable energy sources clear. Finally, it makes energy production more reliable in neighboring major markets.

Dhaval Bhalodia, an Exus Renewables Associate, shared his excitement about the partnership with us, saying that

“This 437MW portfolio represents a major step forward in our strategic partnership with Nuveen Infrastructure and underscores the growing demand for specialised solar asset management in high-growth markets like Texas.”

Our partnership with Nuveen Infrastructure represents an important step in the growth of Exus Renewables’ portfolio. Dries Bruyland, another key figure in the partnership, remarked on the importance of this integration:

“We are pleased to significantly expand our collaboration with Exus Renewables North America as we integrate Sol, Crown and Files into our renewable energy portfolio.”

Exus Renewables provides a wide range of bespoke asset management services. In addition to maximizing the performance of their solar projects, they strive to maintain ERCOT compliance within their operations. The company’s decision is emblematic of a fast-growing trend of companies investing in renewable energy infrastructure in Texas. This sun-drenched state is famous for its incredible solar energy potential.

Adding these three solar sites marks an expansion of Exus Renewables’ presence in Texas. This action makes an immediate and tangible step to increase the pool of renewable energy resources that consumers can access. The demand for clean energy is through the roof. Companies like Exus Renewables are prepared to help take the lead in managing and optimizing these imperative resources.
