Envision Energy and Casa dos Ventos Forge Strategic Renewable Partnership in Brazil

To this end, Envision Energy has created a strong joint venture with Brazilian company Casa dos Ventos. Together, they are poised to accelerate Brazil’s transition to clean energy at world-class speed. This partnership is an important step towards a more holistic strategy that goes far beyond the procurement of wind turbines. Instead, it encompasses a series of strategic discussions and high-level meetings focused on integrating advanced technologies and promoting sustainable practices in Brazil’s energy sector.

The partnership made history when the team celebrated the signing of a landmark 30-year long-term service agreement. This MOU promises to continue technical support and maintenance for the wind plants that would result from their partnership. Envision Energy’s representative, Araripe, visited the company’s headquarters in September 2025 to facilitate discussions on promoting net-zero industries within Brazil. This visit underscores the strong commitment that both companies share. Jointly, they’re making a major push to position Brazil as a global leader in the burgeoning green energy market.

Envision Energy has been forward leaning on the international front, as seen in its recently formed alliance with GES last November. The agreement between the two companies aims to significantly increase the development of BESS and wind power projects throughout Spain and Europe. Change together with us as we work to realize a faster clean energy transition across the region.

Henry Peng, CEO of Envision Energy, shared an upbeat assessment of Brazil’s renewables environment. He stated,

“Brazil has emerged as a global leader in renewable energy, with clean sources supplying nearly 90% of the country’s electricity. As the government diversifies the energy mix, non-hydro renewables such as wind and solar are becoming a strategic pillar of Brazil’s energy transition.”

Notably, this sentiment speaks to Envision Energy’s dedication to creating a better future through sustainability. The significant investment from Casa dos Ventos will further solidify Brazil’s standing as a renewable powerhouse. Lastly, it will pay attention to finding creative answers across sectors.

In a third major piece of news, Envision Energy’s Zhang took tea with then–Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in May 2025. In this one-hour meeting, they vibrantly discussed and exchanged ideas about many aspects of Brazil’s transition to green energy. They directed their energies towards developing net-zero industrial parks, finding new avenues for partnership in sustainable aviation fuel and green hydrogen.

Henry Peng, who is deeper on this partnership, added to that at its depth, saying,

“As one of the earliest global renewable energy companies to invest in Brazil, our partnership with Casa dos Ventos goes far beyond turbine supply. We commit to explore topics such as AI-enabled, system-level net-zero solutions across wind, AIDC [AI data centres], green hydrogen, energy storage and sustainable aviation fuel.”

Now, Envision Energy and Casa dos Ventos have come together in an equally-ambitious collaboration. Overall, they are signaling their joint commitment to significantly increase Brazil’s renewable energy infrastructure. Together, the two companies will pool their resources and expertise to speed the transition to renewable energy and other sustainable resources. They further seek to bolster Brazil’s international green energy credentials.
