This upcoming cable will consist of eight slender polymer waveguides, with each waveguide capable of transmitting 448 gigabits per second using two frequencies: 90 gigahertz and 225 GHz. Of the new e-Tube cable, the biggest benefit is its length of up to 10 to 20 meters. Best of all, it doesn’t experience much in the way of signal loss across that spectrum.
