In the first AI-in-AMD-related projection, AMD expects AI to provide a 25 percent increase to its productivity in the coming years. Currently, teams are utilizing AI during the support phase, where around 20 engineers are involved, and the design phase, which includes 10 engineers. During the first definition phase, there’s no need to have an army of engineers in order to tap into powerful new AI capabilities.
