VSCO Unveils New Features to Enhance Photographers’ Experience

VSCO, the Trailblazing video-editing app, … recently debuted a new set of creative tools. These changes are designed to help photographers feel more empowered with their creativity and workflow. The updates include a new Workspace for managing bookings and schedules, an AI-powered whiteboard for collaboration, and advanced editing tools that support high-resolution RAW files.

Recently, in May, VSCO added in an AI-powered collaborative whiteboard that makes it super easy for photographers to work through projects with clients. This tool is designed to streamline communication and project management, fostering a more efficient workflow. Additionally, the company rolled out an online marketplace last year to help photographers find clients interested in hiring them.

“Since our inception, VSCO has supported authentic creative expression and has provided photographers with many ways to achieve their desired success. AI is revolutionizing photography like never before. According to Eric Wittman, CEO of VSCO, the company is committed to building AI tools that empower photographers to do extraordinary work while respecting the artistry and craftsmanship.

VSCO is launching new AI-based image editing features. Beyond their excellent collaboration tools, these features such as non-destructive edits and content-aware region detection set them apart. These features provide photographers the ability to make changes easily with confidence. They can do this without altering the underlying photo, so their contribution is always preserved. The inclusion of support for high-resolution (up to 16K) RAW files gives photographers even more flexibility and quality to their workflows while editing.

In order to do that, VSCO needs to be very mindful of respecting the art of photography as we incorporate these new technologies. The company’s mission is to make all creative better, and to extend that mission through focused tools made for the unique workflows of photographers.

As VSCO moves forward into new territory with their platform, these new features are a testament to its dedication to uplifting the photographer community. VSCO is dedicated to improving the workflow for photographers and their clients. They further prove this commitment with the recent unveiling of new AI-powered whiteboard, Workspace, and smart editing tools.
