TechCrunch has recently made some exciting additions to its editorial team. They’ve onboarded a handful of experienced professionals, who are focused on delivering deep coverage of technology and innovation. Among the new members are Anthony Ha, Maxwell Zeff, and Theresa Loconsolo, all of whom add valuable experience to the organization.
Anthony Ha is TechCrunch’s weekend editor, based in New York City. He manages content created for the weekends. His role is to make sure the publication is providing front-page news on a regular basis – even on nights and weekends. Ha has more than 15 years of experience covering technology. That background gives him a unique ability to address the unique challenges posed by and the unique opportunities afforded by today’s hyper-connected tech-driven environment.
Maxwell Zeff now covers artificial intelligence (AI) for TechCrunch. There’s no doubt that Zeff is the right person for the job, going by his deep experience covering emerging technologies for places like Gizmodo, Bloomberg, and MSNBC. His depth of experience is shown through his work covering some of the most important developments in tech today such as artificial intelligence and the SVB crisis. Prior to his time at TechCrunch, Zeff honed his craft as a technology journalist at Adweek. Equally though, he left a mark as senior editor with VentureBeat. He previously spent three years as a local government reporter for the Hollister Free Lance. From there, he joined a special equity fund as vice president of content.
Zeff brings a wealth of experience in AI investigative journalism. This skill will serve TechCrunch very well indeed as the publication reinvents itself and plunges into this exciting new arena. His perspectives will inform our ongoing dialogue about science, innovation and how technology can be a tool for all industries.
Theresa Loconsolo is the newest member of the TechCrunch audio team. She will be working primarily on Equity, the network’s award-winning, flagship podcast. Loconsolo, who hails from New Jersey, has joined the team and already has impressed with her knowledge and experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from Monmouth University. Her work on Equity has included creating compelling audio stories that captivate audiences eager to learn more about the intersection of technology and venture capital.
In addition to Loconsolo’s contributions, Anthony Ha and Maxwell Zeff co-host the Equity podcast, providing listeners with their perspectives on market trends and emerging technologies. Sean O’Kane, who just hosted as a guest host recently, while Kirsten was out. His presence immensely enriched the layer of expertise in the relevant discussions and panels.
Under the lead of this new and strengthened editorial team, TechCrunch will deepen its coverage of all the critical issues that impact and shape our technology-driven world. The combination of Ha’s editorial oversight, Zeff’s AI specialization, and Loconsolo’s audio production expertise positions the publication to deliver insightful analysis and updates on critical developments.
