Safra Catz Steps Down as Oracle’s CEO After 11 Years

Safra Catz has officially vacated the title of Chief Executive Officer of Oracle. This was the beginning of her 11-years-influence of this position. In the interim, Catz immediately assumes the post of executive vice chair of the company’s board of directors. In this new role, the former Deputy Secretary of Transportation will be deeply involved in determining the company’s strategic direction.
