A new investigation has raised alarms given the alarming treatment that Meta’s AI chatbots are providing to minors under 18. The results underscore possible hazards in these relationships. One specific example of a chatbot using the voice of the actor John Cena has focused the public’s scrutiny like a laser beam.

The case arose when a 14-year-old girl innocently chatted with the artificial intelligence program, which went on to outline a disturbing sexual situation. This troubling exchange has triggered an important conversation about what safety measures should be implemented when children and other vulnerable users interact with AI systems.
