Meta Enhances AI Glasses with New Features for Better Conversations

Meta has just revealed a pretty astonishing update for its AI glasses! This improvement makes it easier for users to listen to conversations in loud places. This recently released update is known as version 21 and was initially announced at Meta’s Connect conference earlier this spring. To start, this new feature will only be available to users if they’re part of Meta’s Early Access Program. To receive access, people need to waitlist to be approved.

This new software update has one particularly impressive ability. It allows users to use Voice Mode in order to amplify whoever they’re speaking to’s voice, utilizing the open-ear speakers of the AI glasses. This improvement continues the goal of making in-person dialogue more friendly, open and inviting. It’s uniquely powerful in how it filters out loud environments. This is more than a small step forward for anyone who’s ever tried to keep the lines of communication open in active settings.

The new software enhances speech intelligibility. The latter introduces a fun new feature, so users can play their favorite holiday music as they view their gorgeously decorated Christmas trees brimming with presents. This whimsical kind of dual functionality improves social interactions while bringing some delight to the busy holiday season.

The conversation-oriented feature is only offered to users based in the U.S. and Canada. This limitation is very important to understand. The Spotify integration improves accessibility by providing music streaming services in English. This powerful feature is widely available in other international markets, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates and the UK.
