Leadership Shift at Nabla as Alex LeBrun Joins AMI Labs

Alex LeBrun is going long. He will step down as CEO of Nabla to assume the role of CEO of AMI Labs. Nabla, a Paris-based AI for health startup, is doing wonderfully and tripling its size. This move comes on the heels of their impressive Series D fundraising round, which raised a whopping $120 million from influential investors like Yann LeCun and Tony Fadell’s Build Collective.

LeBrun’s departure from Nabla marks an equally impressive milestone for the company. Just last month, they announced the closing of a successful $70 million Series C funding round. The investment has certainly solidified Nabla’s comparative strength in the cutthroat world of AI. Now, it has the opportunity to seek out new strategic partnerships and take its offerings even further. Delphine Groll, cofounder and COO of Nabla, will take on CEO duties as the company begins the search for a new chief executive.

“With Nabla, we’re not done yet,” said Groll, emphasizing the company’s ability to weather challenges and focus on creating impactful AI technologies for healthcare.

Yann LeCun, recently awarded the A.M. Turing Award – the ‘Nobel Prize’ for computing – for his seminal contributions to reinforcement learning. He has pledged to take on the role of Executive Chairman at AMI Labs. Yoshua LeCun, professor at New York University. Previously, he was Vice President & Chief AI Scientist at Meta. Model development He was recently inspired to apply these new AI technologies after seeing the evolution of “world models.”

“Yes, AMI Labs is my new startup. I’m the Executive Chairman. Alex LeBrun is transitioning from CEO of Nabla to CEO of AMI Labs!” LeCun stated, emphasizing the collaborative nature of this leadership change.

AMI Labs will be at the forefront of these AI advancements. As Google DeepMind and Fei-Fei Li’s new startup, World Labs, among others, are increasing their innovative projects to the same end, you should be working on your own. Now organizations are in a race to create the most reliable world models. They’re doing this to address developing public concern regarding the unreliability of large language models (LLMs). As experts have warned, we can never trust LLMs to not make stuff up because they are inherently non-deterministic.

Nabla’s new partnership with AMI is another reflection of their dedication to innovative thinking. The deal means that Nabla gets to use AMI’s primary models as they are created, thus improving their own offerings even further. This partnership is an important strategic move to bring cutting edge AI approaches into the fold. It allows Nabla to remain competitive with nimble tools in a fast-moving ecosystem.

After taking on his new position at AMI Labs, Alex LeBrun was excited about what lies ahead. “We have more than tripled our live ARR this year. Up next to $1B!” he declared, showcasing his ambition for the upcoming developments at AMI Labs.
