Google has today officially launched its latest image generation model, the Nano Banana Pro. With rich capabilities for generating high-fidelity images, this new tool has some serious firepower. Smart templates in this new AI model can take advantage of six quality images. It combines up to 14 separate objects into one cohesive image, and we’re talking a pretty gargantuan technological leap in image-creation capabilities.
Among them, the Nano Banana Pro model is touted to have a very competitive price. Order 1080p/2K images for only $0.139, or 4K images for $0.24 each. This new pricing structure embodies Google’s mission of democratizing high-quality image generation, bringing it to a wider clientele.
The model is great at keeping a consistent look and pose across images featuring up to five people. This feature is particularly beneficial for apps that require an authentic portrayal of individuals. It booms in sectors such as media, advertising and production.
Google has future plans to integrate the Nano Banana Pro across all their current AI tools, improving the functionality and reach of the tool extensively. Subscribers to Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra will be given increased generation limits. The company has not yet disclosed what counts as a maximum for any of these thresholds. This new subscription tier system has been specifically created to meet the diverse needs of users, both new and experienced, to help improve their creative workflow.
Eligible subscribers are able to use the Google AI model via Notebook LM. This opens up expanded use case scenarios for developers and content creators.
