Google recently released one of the most creative new uses for generative AI technology in its Google Photos app with a feature called “Me Meme.” This exciting new feature lets users create customized memes by blending a FUNKO pose photo template with an image of themselves. The new feature is an attempt to increase creativity and engagement among users on the app.
To get started with “Me Meme,” users first need to choose a meme template or upload their own image. From there, it’s just a matter of tapping “add photo” and then “Generate” to make their own original meme. It’s as simple as that. This easy-to-understand process ensures maximum simplicity, perfect for both experienced meme-makers and those entering the meme-creation arena for the first time.
Though “Me Meme” has not been completely deployed yet. Due to this rollout approach, not all users will be able to find the feature in their app – even after updating Google Photos. It will likely only be available at first to users with a U.S. billing address. The new feature was first documented while in development last October by the technology news service Android Authority.
