The creation and use of AI-generated music is moving at an astonishing pace. Deezer shared with us that they’ve seen a dramatic increase in the delivery of such content in recent months. It’s an encouraging trend that the company is very excited to see. Close to 18% of the music that gets uploaded every day is entirely AI-generated—in all, more than 20,000 tracks submitted per day. “We’ve detected a significant uptick in delivery of AI-generated music only in the past few months and we see no sign of it slowing down. It’s an industry-wide issue, and we are committed to leading the way in increasing transparency by helping music fans identify which albums include AI music,” – Alexis Lanternier, Deezer CEO.
