Anthropic, the artificial intelligence company behind the Claude Code platform has closed $13 billion in a Series F funding round. This uniform achievement raises its post-money valuation to a remarkable $183 billion. This momentous financial achievement comes after the company’s March 2025 funding round. At the time of that round, it had raised $3.5 billion and was valued at $61.5 billion.
The outlook is positive. In terms of overall support from investors, 2023’s second quarter funding jump is encouraging. Anthropic has already begun raising its next round, reportedly seeking $3bn–5bn at a $170bn valuation. Other prominent backers include Altimeter, Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, and Qatar Investment Authority. Their advocacy is a sign of increasing faith in the company’s financial direction.

In recent months, *Anthropic* has experienced an astounding increase in usage, expanding over tenfold in only three months. These days, the company operates more than 300,000 business customers. Over the last year, the total of these big accounts – with more than $100k in run-rate revenue – has exploded, multiplying by almost seven times!
The Series F funding will accelerate enterprise adoption of Anthropic’s products including Claude. Additionally, it will further advance our safety research programs and assist with work toward expanding globally. Rao further remarked on the significance of the funding: “This financing demonstrates investors’ extraordinary confidence in our financial performance and the strength of their collaboration with us to continue fueling our unprecedented growth.”
