AI Innovations Take Center Stage in San Francisco

San Francisco will welcome the world’s technology capital to a major technology and innovation extravaganza from October 27–29, 2025. At this dynamic event, industry leaders will showcase the newest developments in artificial intelligence. Perhaps the biggest highlight to date is the launch of new generative AI agents from Zendesk. These virtual agents aim to solve 80% of customer service inquiries, representing a huge step toward automated customer interactions.

Look for big announcements from Anthropic and IBM, too, at the event. Read more about their strategic partnership to crank up AI capacity. Deloitte, the global consulting firm, has been in the news with their recent announcement. Their recent agreement with Anthropic deepens Anthropic’s roots in the industry. Despite the optimism, Deloitte has had a rough go. It recently had to pay out a massive refund for AI services rendered in the past.

According to Zendesk, its new chatbots are going to completely transform customer service by reducing the amount of human touch required. By automating responses and their solutions, the service company wants to drive down operational costs and boost operational efficiency. This trend begs the question, what will be the fate of human workers in the customer-facing industries.

Even the Australian government recently raised alarm over whether models like ChatGPT were truly ready for broad rollout. Public officials have been clear that many of those models that do exist aren’t prepared for “prime time.” They do stress further development and regulatory scrutiny is needed before we can accept them far and wide.

Anthony Ha, TechCrunch’s NYC-based weekend editor, contributed, highlighting the need to develop ways to fact-check AI-generated content. He stressed the importance of complete verification to protect their credibility.

“You have to actually go through and make sure that the information being cited is real. You can’t feed it into a model and just say, ‘All right, my job is done, that’ll be however many billable hours.’” – Anthony Ha

OpenAI has achieved an equally impressive feat with its launch of a new AI model called Sora. With companies investing billions into AI technology, this only increases the level of competition. This intense competition for advances introduces critical ethical considerations into the mix.

At the TechCrunch event, participants will have plenty of opportunity to discuss all of these exciting developments and much more. The event highlights the growing importance of AI across various sectors and offers insights into how businesses are adapting to technological advancements.
