Adobe has made some huge moves with its Firefly suite! They recently launched a new AI-powered, prompt-based video editing feature that brings the power of professional-quality video editing into everyone’s hands. This new revolution comes on the heels of the company’s previous launch of a subscription model for image and video generation in February. The expanded Instagram app video editor, originally announced in limited, private beta last October, is now open to all users.
Also, the Firefly web app that was first announced in March went live in April. It uniquely serves the needs of content creators with multi-tiered levels of image and video generation. Along with this, Adobe released mobile apps for Firefly later in the year. Now, we’re building on that momentum with extended support for even more third-party models! Now, users can expand their creative horizons even further!
When announcing their new video editing features, Adobe spoke to how quickly and easily users could make whatever changes they need. Features include simple commands such as:

These features automate part of the video editing workflow. This gets complex tools out of the way and lets creators focus on their storytelling.
