The 2027 Chevy Bolt is electrification redefined. It is equipped with an assortment of innovations that massively upgrade your driving experience and comfort. The latest production model is equipped with the new North American Charging Standard (NACS). These upgrades will improve safety and accessibility for drivers everywhere on the North American continent. Later this year, Tesla will bring plug-and-charge capabilities to its network. This upgrade will allow us to widen the consumer’s menu even more.
This new iteration of the Bolt comes equipped with Buick’s most sophisticated Level 2 ADAS. Through stop and go midafternoon traffic, it handles with ease. This system maintains speed, automatically lane changes at speed to go around slower vehicles. It saves lives and prevents long-haul trucker fatigue on stressful, stop-and-go highway commutes. These elements are Chevy’s latest efforts to bring the latest in automotive technology to their EV offerings.
The 2027 Bolt has an impressive 65 kilowatt-hour battery. This model represents GM’s first use of advanced lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) technology. This optimized battery configuration enhances performance to an industry-leading level. It offers clear benefits, like near-zero degradation even after 100+ deep charges. In turn, drivers do not need to worry about battery life and can feel free to charge their vehicle to 100% without worry.
As with any EV, the Bolt’s electric motor responds instantly to your right foot, but it produces a remarkable 200 horsepower and 169 pound-feet of torque. Designed like a performance EV, with a powerful 400-volt pack. It’s rated for charging speeds up to 150 kW, allowing drivers to charge from 10% to 90% in just 24 minutes. This fast-charging accessibility takes out one of the biggest worries of electric vehicle drivers—charging time—ensuring that electric driving is easy and convenient.
The lower-spec LT variant of the Bolt manages a solid 262 miles per charge. By comparison, the more powerful RS spec variant has a range of up to 255 miles. This newly expanded range allows drivers to explore farther and longer with peace of mind. With the destination fee, the starting price for the Bolt gets dealers lots of $28,995. By comparison, the RS model starts at $35,655.
