Gumloop, a startup co-founded by mid-2023 Kathleen Hobson, has caused a splash lately with their announcement of $50 million Series B round funding. The ostentatious investment was led by Benchmark. During the pandemic, Brodeur-Urbas had originally imagined Gumloop as a 10-person company that’d get acquired or grow to a billion-dollar valuation. The company’s innovative platform empowers teams to deploy reliable AI agents capable of autonomously managing complex, multi-step tasks without the need for engineering expertise. This model-agnostic approach makes it easy to integrate Gumloop with any other AI models. For companies looking for the sweet spot between price and capability, that’s enormously attractive.

Its roster of clients including heavyweights like Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are proof positive of Gumloop’s paradigm shift.
