Ozlo Innovates Sleep Technology with AI Integration and Advanced Sensors

Founded by former Bose employees, Ozlo is making big strides in sleep technology. In the coming months, the company has promised to release an AI-powered agent that will serve as a virtual “sleep buddy” for users. Committed to improving people’s sleep—bringing comfort to those with sleep difficulties—Dreamwell is disrupting the sleep category with insomniac innovation as its story platform, driven by new products and collaborations. Ozlo is particularly focused on building out its underlying technology. In doing so, it’s setting itself up to be a leader in the rapidly growing industry of sleep data management.

Ozlo’s future products will allow you to text chat with the AI agent. You’ll receive individualized guidance and care, so you can make the changes your nighttime routine needs. Enlightened company staff is hard at work on a light version of their innovative product suite. This functionality will allow users to be softly awakened in the most advantageous of windows. This new integration of AI and bio-sensory technology looks to bridge the gap between sleep and any unacknowledged discomforts for an overall better sleeping experience.

Enhanced Sleep Monitoring Features

Ozlo’s sensors are designed with advanced capabilities to track users’ sleep patterns comprehensively. These sensors passively track nighttime disruptions, such as bathroom trips. They’ll even trigger an alert when one of their users falls at night. This new feature makes it easier for users to understand their sleep patterns. Beyond enhancing convenience, it increases the safety of all those who might be most vulnerable while sleeping.

The firm is working on a commercially available 4×6 inch speaker that would incorporate its own sensor technology. This speaker, they say, will deliver a customized audio experience, specifically designed to help users sleep better. One of Ozlo’s missions is to create a better way to combine sound data and sensory data. This new addition completely changes the mood of sleep.

“Basically, we are custom designing the eartip that is going to measure the electrical signals from your ear. From that, actually, you can derive the delta signals from the brain, and you should be able to say what your brain is doing when it comes to sleep, or when it comes to awareness, and all that,” – Patil.

Ozlo has a number of other tinnitus therapy tools in active development. These tools are intended to assist with the 15% of its clients who suffer with ear-ringing challenges. These therapies will give users more focused relief options. Beginning in the second quarter of 2026, you will be able to access them through a new subscription model.

Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships

To further strengthen its technological stack, Ozlo recently acquired Segotia, an EEG-oriented neurotech company from Ireland. Together, this acquisition will allow Ozlo to integrate EEG technology into their products, with a major product launch expected in 2027. The integration of EEG technology allows Ozlo’s devices to derive delta signals from the brain, enhancing their ability to provide insights into users’ sleep states.

Ozlo’s partnership with the meditation app Calm further demonstrates its commitment to creating a comprehensive suite of tools aimed at improving users’ sleep quality. Ozlo takes advantages of Calm’s deep library of content. This enables users to experience a more holistic experience that combines the art of meditation with the science of advanced sleep tracking technology.

“The way we did that from the beginning is we built the iOS and Android SDK — so our first-party app actually runs on that SDK. That means whatever you see in our app can be made available to anybody,” – Patil.

Ozlo’s app features a fun animated guide character called “Buddy.” By responding each time users open and close the learning device’s case, Buddy quickly becomes a personality that kids can engage with during play. This friendly feature is designed to interact with users in a more fun and engaging way, fostering a lighter experience with the tech.

Future Developments and Funding

Ozlo is in the process of completing its Series B funding round. This funding will help propel its ambitious growth plans in all directions. The company’s priority is to continue scaling their technology platform and enriching existing products while developing new ones. Ozlo is taking advantage of the time where AI and sensor technology is maturing. Moving forward, the company is poised for explosive growth in the tripling health and wellness industry.

Ozlo’s long-term vision is to eventually connect its products with Internet of Things (IoT) devices. For one, they’re hoping to connect with smart thermostats. This integration will allow users to optimize their sleeping environment by setting ideal temperatures based on real-time data from their sleep patterns.

“Taking real-time action when the customer achieves the desired state [which Ozlo does with its feature that can shut off sounds after the user falls asleep] and the other part, which is very important, actually — that content creators are not quite thinking about — is, are they investing in the right content?” – Patil.
