Envision Energy Advances Brazil’s Green Energy Transition with Strategic Partnerships

Envision Energy, a global leader in smart renewable energy technology based in China, is playing a notable role in helping Brazil accelerate its green energy transition. In May 2025, Envision’s executives met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to discuss the country’s efforts toward non-hydro renewable sources. From there, the conversations moved to very exciting new initiatives such as net-zero industrial parks. They discussed areas for joint cooperation, including in sustainable aviation fuel and green hydrogen.

This meeting was further underscored by the rising demand for Brazil to diversify its energy portfolio. It honed in on the nation’s ambitious plan to ramp up non-hydro renewables, like wind and solar energy. President Lula da Silva’s administration has positioned these renewable sources as essential components of Brazil’s energy strategy, aiming for nearly 90% of the nation’s electricity to come from clean sources.

And along the way, Envision Energy has proven to be a global leader in this transition. It was among the first global renewable companies to invest in Brazil. The company’s overarching goal is to help the country make a rapid transition to renewable energy, which they plan to do with their partnership with Casa dos Ventos. Through this collaboration, they hope to go further than just increasing their wind energy portfolio and include more extensive efforts towards sustainability.

In September 2025, our partner Envision Energy traveled to Araripe to advance discussions about attracting net-zero industries to the region. The collaboration with Casa dos Ventos includes a significant, 30-year long service contract. This partnership cements Brazil’s position as an important actor in the global green energy value chain.

“As one of the earliest global renewable energy companies to invest in Brazil, our partnership with Casa dos Ventos goes far beyond turbine supply. We commit to explore topics such as AI-enabled, system-level net-zero solutions across wind, AIDC [AI data centres], green hydrogen, energy storage and sustainable aviation fuel.” – Henry Peng

When Envision joined forces with GES in November 2025, this alliance is directed towards accelerating deployment of BESS and wind power projects across Spain and Europe. This collaboration focuses on large-scale rollout of BESS assets and wind turbine generators to expedite the region’s clean energy transition.

Henry Peng noted the strategic importance of Brazil’s renewable landscape, stating, “Brazil has emerged as a global leader in renewable energy, with clean sources supplying nearly 90% of the country’s electricity. As the government diversifies the energy mix, non-hydro renewables such as wind and solar are becoming a strategic pillar of Brazil’s energy transition.”
