Spotify’s senior director of Global Marketing, Matt Luhks, acknowledged that the company received a “lot of feedback” regarding the 2024 Wrapped experience. We use that as information, insights, [and] inspiration for how we approached Wrapped this year.”
The new-look Spotify Wrapped introduces a host of new features aimed at making users more engaged. One of the most popular features, though, is the Top Song Quiz. It dares listeners to predict their most played song of the year, then it unveils the thrilling outcome! This new interactive element makes it a bit more interesting and exciting, as readers can test their knowledge of the annual summary beforehand.
Perhaps the most extraordinary aspect though, is the Listening Age. Its a tool that matches your 2025 musical tastes to other people in your age cohort. This highly addictive feature surfaces the track release years you most frequently listen to. It provides you with an exclusive look at your musical preferences as compared to your classmates. Wrapped spotlights the five-year span in which users relaxed with the most music. Most interestingly, it compares these preferences to every other similar listener (age-wise) in the country.
Spotify Wrapped 2025 introduces Wrapped Party, a vibrant new experience. It allows their users to experience a fully live multiplayer mode where friends can in real time share and compare their listening data with each other. This feature is intended to enhance social connections between users by promoting these shared experiences created by music.
