Uare.ai Secures $10.3 Million Seed Funding and Rebrands Under New Vision

Uare.ai, formerly known for its previous ventures, has successfully rebranded and secured $10.3 million in seed funding. This Series A round was led by Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures – both leading firms in the US. The firm has refocused recently to build more creative, scaling tools. These tools are geared towards the singular professional, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Robert LoCascio, founder of Uare.ai, onetime billionaire, and former CEO of LivePerson, resigned as CEO of his company in early 2023. Historically, LivePerson has been considered a leader in webchat technology all the way back to when it was founded in 1997. LoCascio’s experience in the tech industry has informed his vision for Uare.ai, which aims to empower creators and professionals to leverage artificial intelligence in their daily operations.

Uare.ai’s platform and developer preview is scheduled to launch later this year! Finally, it will enable the user to train their own high-level models (HLMs) by responding to specific queries from the Uare.ai system. You may answer these questions in written or video form. Send your message as text, voice, or video for a uniquely personal interaction tailored to your style!

The very first step is receiving a real human life narrative. Where’d you come from? Tell me a story about your childhood. What’s a turning point in your life when you were younger?” – Robert LoCascio.

Uare.ai’s methodology combines real data with individual stories, crafting a customized model for each user. “We blend the facts with this human life story, and that gives us your model,” LoCascio explained. This approach improves user experience and ensures people can stay in control of their data.

In 2024, LoCascio founded Eternos, a for-profit legacy service that allows people to preserve their voices and stories for their friends and family after they die. He is the founder of Uare.ai. Eternos received a fair amount of media attention when its inaugural client, Michael Bommer, offered to tell his story. Bommer spent 25 hours interviewing Eternos to learn about his life, passions, and unique perspective on the world.

Navin Chaddha, managing partner at Mayfield, shared his enthusiasm for Uare.ai’s promise. He noted how the company is different than its competitors. They do this by focusing on the unique needs of each person and creating a more human touch in conversations powered by AI.

And that started to make me feel like for the big models, they’re taking our datasets and they’re getting smarter because of us. We don’t have to take that path. You have all the rights in the model, share it with others, commercially benefit from this, told LoCascio, stressing that user choice and control is the crux of what makes user data valuable.

As the tech landscape continues to evolve, Uare.ai is positioning itself as a key player in the AI domain, particularly for individual professionals seeking to enhance their productivity and creativity through innovative tools.
