Superhuman, creator of the world’s fastest email experience, has officially changed its name — after its acquisition by Grammarly this past July. The company aims to enhance its offerings by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into its email clients and document suite. This transformation is part of Superhuman’s strategy to establish itself as a comprehensive productivity suite, catering to the needs of modern users.
The name change to Superhuman represents a new beginning for the San Francisco-based company, founded in 2014. On October 27-29, 2025, Superhuman hosted an immersive SUPER_ experience to introduce its advancements and new features. These improvements have been highlighted in a new AI assistant. Its purpose is built to rapidly pull disparate data from all the relevant sources — from CRM systems to internal databases. With this new assistant, users will be able to always get custom suggestions based on their email content, making communication faster and more efficient.
Initially, Superhuman has a Business plan available for $33 effectively per month (billed yearly) which gives you access to Superhuman Mail. The annual Pro plan subscription starts at $12/month. We’re thrilled that this plan goes beyond English to provide support for grammar and tone in several languages! From an individual user to larger institution needs, these new subscription options are focused on improving all types of users’ workflows and productivity.
Superhuman has plans to continue to grow its AI-enhanced offerings. By integrating these functionalities into the Coda document suite, the company aims to automate email draft enhancements by pulling relevant data from both external and internal sources. This method reduces the drafting burden greatly. It helps guarantee that users get to the most pertinent information directly within the task of writing emails.
Superhuman has taken a similar approach with a product bundle initiative, in parallel to their core product. They’ve launched an agent store full of smart tools to support their agents including plagiarism checker, a proofreader and more. This expansion is a testament to Superhuman’s mission of delivering a fully-windowed productivity experience to its users.
For all current Grammarly users, the doors to Superhuman Go are open. This new feature is meant to help make that experience a little more special! This user engagement effort highlights Superhuman’s commitment to creating an optimal user experience and delight as it continues to evolve into its new corporate skin.
