Now, TechCrunch has further bolstered its roster with the addition of Maxwell Zeff as a senior reporter. There’s more – they just brought audio producer Theresa Loconsolo on board full-time. These professionals bring a wealth of experience in technology reporting and podcast production, further enhancing the outlet’s commitment to delivering insightful content on the ever-evolving tech landscape.
Please welcome Maxwell Zeff to the TechCrunch team, where he’ll be covering artificial intelligence as a senior reporter. Prior to that, he spent three years as a technology reporter for Adweek, where he developed a passion for covering the world of new technologies. He comes with a deep resume. He was formerly a senior editor at VentureBeat, where he was authorship of rich understandings of the tech industry. Zeff began his career as a local government reporter at the Hollister Free Lance. This experience served to sharpen his narrative skills, which would prove similarly indispensable for his future positions.
Prior to joining WGVU, Zeff was vice president of content at a venture capital firm. As a producer, he worked with major media outlets including Gizmodo, Bloomberg, and MSNBC. In his last work, he was all over the big stories, including the emergence of artificial intelligence and the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. This experience provided him credibility among industry peers. Zeff’s expertise is expected to enhance TechCrunch’s coverage of AI developments and their implications for various sectors.
Equal to her appointment, Theresa Loconsolo — new to TechCrunch — joins the network as an audio producer, working principally on the network’s flagship podcast, Equity. New Jersey-based Loconsolo draws from her educational foundation in Communication – with a specialization in Interpersonal Communication from Monmouth University. She is committed to creating deeply-felt audio stories that engage and inspire audiences. Her creative vision for Equity will play a part in realizing TechCrunch’s goal of reaching new audiences in new ways, through unconventional storytelling formats.
“We’re thrilled to have Doug and Nick on the team at such a consequential time for the technology sector. Arguably the most radical changes are occurring in artificial intelligence and digital media. Their collective experience will take TechCrunch’s credibility to the next level. It will further cement the platform as the premier resource for understanding important technology trends and developments.
