VSB Group, the German renewable energy developer, has recently won a historic high contract for difference (CfD). It will help them implement their ambitious 303 megawatt-peak (MWp) solar farm in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. The project, stretching more than 260 hectares northeast of Wrocław, is expected to greatly improve the region’s energy production capacity. Once operational, the solar park will deliver enough clean power every year to meet the needs of about 117,000 households.
Final construction on this ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) plant is scheduled to begin in October of 2025. The project will look to include cutting-edge technologies.
