Arc Launches Affordable Electric Boat Model Targeting Eco-Conscious Consumers

Arc, a new electric boat startup, has recently released its latest model, the Arc Coast. With a starting price around $12,000, this new watercraft is the company’s most accessible watercraft to date. It’s about getting more people out on the water and making electric boating more accessible to everyone. The Arc Coast has comfortable seating for up to 10 passengers. It is powered by a 400 horsepower battery that gives her the ability to run four to five hours depending on use.

Since conception only four years back, Arc has dedicated itself to engineering more environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional watercraft. The Arc Coast is the third bike in their stable. It comes in behind the super limited edition Arc One, $300,000 and the Arc Sport, $268,000. The Arc Coast is priced from a surprisingly low $168,000. Combined with the runtime, this makes it a perfect choice for buyers looking to dip their toes into the electric boating universe.

Arc has some very cool, long-term plans in the works! Beyond their electric Coast work, they’re designing, prototyping and testing an electric tugboat to operate at the Port of Los Angeles. This project fits right in line with the company’s broader mission to bring electrification to every class of watercraft. Founder and CEO Mitch Lee emphasized the importance of sustainable practices in the boating industry, stating that electrification is crucial for reducing emissions and promoting environmental health.

The Arc Coast’s performance capabilities are equally impressive, with a top speed of nearly 50 miles per hour and quick acceleration. In this case, its speed and efficiency are exactly what makes it so appealing. It has attracted recreational users and local businesses alike to see it as a sustainable transportation solution. Preorders for the Arc Coast are more than welcome, with an anticipated shipping date in 2026.

Unsurprisingly, as an organization devoted to innovation and sustainability, Arc fully supports this move. It’s this passion and commitment that keeps them at the forefront of the electric boating industry. The Arc Coast is looking to set the standard for equity and access with electric watercraft. This local initiative is key to supporting a sustainable, greener future.
