Molecule Systems and SINEXCEL Forge Partnership to Enhance Energy Management Solutions

Molecule Systems has established a strategic partnership with SINEXCEL. Tying it all together, they will create an integrated energy management system (EMS) and a VPP (virtual power plant) platform, focused on improving operational efficiency for commercial and industrial (C&I) battery storage developers. This partnership picks up right where Molecule Systems and Enersponse left off in February 2025. Together, they turned their sights on increasing VPP capabilities for the C&I sector.

Molecule Systems and SINEXCEL have entered into an exciting new partnership. Together, they’re working to simplify and unify the building energy management experience for the small to mid-sized C&I storage markets. To overcome the challenges encountered by SINEXCEL’s system integrators, the two companies are combining their resources. Our collective work will reduce the burden on integrators to find or create their own EMS solutions. This change makes things easier for project developers, who won’t have to deal with the added step of having to integrate with third-party EMS providers.

The integrated platform accelerates the roll-out of enterprise energy management systems. It increases operational efficiency behind the meter. It is poised to improve participation in front-of-the-meter programs. This will provide smart developers with an exceptional toolbox to create effective energy resource management.

For Molecule Systems, as a company focused on bringing breakthrough energy products to market, this partnership with SINEXCEL is a clear affirmation of our mission. About the collaboration This partnership is focused on bringing to market advanced, high-reliability, high-performance energy storage solutions that will address dynamic and changing market demands.

“The Molecule-SINEXCEL solution gives developers and integrators an edge by combining proven hardware with intelligent software and VPP market access.” – Molecule Systems CEO Adam Boucher

Henry Cheung, general manager of SINEXCEL’s energy storage and microgrid business unit, emphasized the importance of their joint efforts, stating, “SINEXCEL is committed to advancing reliable, high-performance energy storage solutions that drive customer value.”

This collaboration represents an important step forward in managing our energy. It equips their developers to harness the latest technology and maximize their efficiencies in a rapidly consolidating, cut-throat marketplace.
