Engelhart is extremely pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with e.optimum. They have signed a new PPA to increase their renewable energy supply in Germany. This deal will significantly strengthen our energy portfolio, with the addition of approximately 167 megawatts (MW) of new onshore wind power. It is set to launch in the second half of 2025. Combined, the new capacity will generate enough green electricity to supply an estimated 31,000 homes annually. This historic effort will assist Germany in achieving its impressive target of a net-zero carbon economy by 2045.
Engelhart and his team at e.optimum are passionate about decarbonisation and Germany’s energy transition. Engelhart recently signed another PPA on behalf of clients. They now’re now powering their delivery with electricity from more than 250 megawatts of onshore wind power across the country. The two companies’ ongoing collaboration has produced some really great results. They’ve increased their contracted capacity from 86 MW to 253 MW — a phenomenal 195% annual growth.
Engelhart and e.optimum signed their last PPA in January 2025. This partnership launched a dynamic alliance focused on creating and promoting sustainable energy practices in Germany. This expansion is a testament to the companies’ ongoing dedication to invest in renewable energy. It further reaffirms their role as the nation’s lead agents of progress on America’s path to a clean energy future.
